CHALLENGE 5- "TECH TREK"

21st Century education is actively utilizing technology for collaborating, creating, communicating, and thinking critically.  

This week our focus is using images, music and sounds correctly and legally in your posts.
CAN I use any image, music or sound that is on the internet?
NO, you must use creative commons or in some cases the fair use rule.
WHERE can I find these images, music and sounds?

1.  Go to the creative commons website. Check out the CC wiki to find out what is happening in your country. What are the different licenses used?  Youtube allows creative commons for videos, as well.


*  OK I want to use some legal creative commons images and music in my slideshow. Where can I go to get them?

You will need to work out how to get the attribution to put on your posts.

 THIS WEEK'S ACTIVITY:   Show off your "techy" side.  Create a post of your choice utilizing a minimum of THREE web 2.0 tools. 

* the topic is your choice- write, create, or demonstrate anything of your choice
* the tools used are your choice- create your post using music, images, writing, .....your choice
* the theme is your choice- what's your passion?......CREATE IT!!
* the end result is your choice- you decide what you want the post to be - however, it must utilize three web tools, CC images, and CC music

Instructions:  
1.  You must use a minimum of three 2.0 web tools.  Document the three tools used somewhere in your post.
2.  You must use Creative Commons (CC) images and/or music in your post.
3.  You may use any tools of your choice.  Several are linked below.  Try a new web tool!!!!
4.  TWEET out your post when finished! (include- #teach2blog)  Add the hashtags for the tools you used in your post.
5.  Comment on at least five other posts- from other schools on this site.
